Trichina Worms- trichinella spiralis
Like most nematoda species, trichina worms reproduce sexually. The male uses his bent tail to hold the female, while chitinized spicules moves from his cloaca to the genital pore of the female. The fertilized eggs are then embryonated and secreted by the uterus. These eggs then hatch into larvae that are usually identical to the adults, and then continue the life span of a trichina worm, to repeat the same reproduction process later on during its adult life.
