The Porifera Phylum consists of sponges. Unlike other many other organisms, sponges do not have mouths; therefore, they must obtain their food through tiny pores of their outer wall, which allows water to flow through their bodies. Furthermore, sponges have no nervous system and are capable of reproducing sexually or asexually.
