Earthworms- Komarekiona eatoni
Earthworms are part of the annelida phylum. They live in the ground, in soil, and feed off of the organic matter found in it. They help to decompose the dead organisms in the environment by feeding off of them and excreting them later on; this process helps to enrich the soil in an environment. There digestive system runs throughout the entire length of their body. Although they don't have a skeletal system, their structure is maintained by their fluid-filled coelem chambers. The segments of a worm are the spaces between each indented line you can see in a worm. This helps scientists to help determine what parts of their body are where, which helps them figure out their reproductive system.
