The tiny backwards facing spines on the male penis are believed to stimulate the ovulation. After about 3 months the female cheetah gives birth to 1-3 cubs in a burrow that is made of thick grass. The cubs then live with their parents for about two years and then they go out on their own and begin the cycle again.
